In many societies, including Uyo, females often face unique challenges in their pursuit of education, which can negatively affect their academic performance. These challenges could range from societal expectations and norms that prioritize male education to economic constraints that limit access to educational resources and opportunities. These challenges can cause female students to drop out of school early, perform poorly in academic assessments, or even develop negative attitudes towards learning.

Teachers and parents play a critical role in mitigating the impact of these challenges on female students. Teachers are responsible for creating a conducive learning environment that fosters academic success, while parents have a duty to provide support and guidance to their children as they navigate the education system.
